Apple TV+ May 2026 Recap: Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed and Star City

This comedy thriller followed Paula, a newly divorced mother whose life tipped into chaos after she became convinced she had witnessed a crime. While managing a bitter custody battle and a shaky sense of who she was, she started digging into what she saw. The investigation pulled her toward something larger than a single incident, a possible conspiracy with roots she did not expect. The show wove together blackmail, a possible murder, and the ordinary grind of youth soccer, and tied Paula’s search for the truth to her attempt to put her family and her own identity back together.

Star City was a paranoid thriller set during an alternate version of the space race, one where the Soviet Union became the first nation to land a man on the moon.
