After a season that leaned heavily on flashbacks and left some viewers cold, Silo turned things around last week with an episode that landed as one of the season’s best. The series is built on the idea that every choice not made somewhere still plays out as an entire life being lived elsewhere. OutKast keeps the investigation moving for John Stewart and Hal Jordan as the two intergalactic cops dig deeper into the murder that pulled them into this case. The mismatch between the two Lanterns, one green behind the badge and one who’s been doing this a long time, keeps shaping how they work the mystery. Set against an ordinary American town, the case keeps widening in ways that suggest whatever’s happening on Earth reaches well past the original crime scene. This episode adds another layer to that widening picture without resolving much yet.

The Gentlemen returns for a second season, picking up about a year after Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass joined forces to run Bobby’s overseas criminal empire. Bobby’s decisions have started looking increasingly reckless, and Eddie and Susie now have to decide whether to step in or risk losing everything they’ve built. Guy Ritchie returns to write and direct, with most of the first season’s cast back, including Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Daniel Ings, Ray Winstone, Vinnie Jones and Giancarlo Esposito. Hugh Bonneville and Maya Jama join this season. All eight episodes are available on Netflix at once.

The Idiot Army has Joe leading the hunt as her team exposes a hidden network running through covert handlers, while Kaitlyn and Westfield scramble to figure out how serious the threat actually is. The show keeps circling the same tension it’s built its three seasons on: Joe working undercover among people who would kill her without hesitation if they knew who she really was, while the job keeps eating into the parts of her life outside of it. This episode pushes the operation further along without giving the team, or the viewer, much room to catch their breath.

Episode five continues season four’s version of Ted Lasso, still finding its footing away from his old locker room routine as he coaches a second division women’s team in Richmond. The show’s built its whole run on Ted’s mix of relentless positivity and genuine cluelessness about the sport he’s coaching, and season four leans into what happens once some of the certainty that used to define him gets shaken loose. This episode keeps that adjustment going, working through the day to day of a team and a coach both still figuring out their footing.

Episode five keeps Anna Pigeon working her way through the mystery that opened this season at Glacier National Park, still carrying the loss that pushed her out of New York and into the Park Service in the first place. The show is loosely based on Nevada Barr’s nineteen book Anna Pigeon series, though it isn’t a straight adaptation: the TV version centers Anna at Glacier rather than the desert park where the books begin, and builds its supporting cast from characters who don’t show up in Barr’s novels until much later in the series. This week’s episode doesn’t have plot details attached yet, but season four of Strange New Worlds keeps following the same crew through the years before Kirk takes command. Pike, Spock, Number One and the rest of the Enterprise crew continue exploring new worlds and unfamiliar civilizations at the edge of known space, working through the kind of standalone missions the show has built its identity on. The season has kept mixing lighter episodes with bigger structural moments, and this one continues that pattern without giving away where it lands.

The One puts more pressure on a crew already dealing with a spacecraft that’s a year away from anywhere and a supply line that isn’t going to last that long. The series has spent three seasons asking what’s left of leadership and cooperation once the mission goes wrong before it even really starts, and this episode keeps testing how far the remaining crew is willing to go to hold the ship together. With no working command structure and shrinking resources, the show keeps circling the same question: who actually steps up when there’s no one left in charge.

And the Toy Phone strands Charlie without the rest of the team, who are off on a Library retreat, when a call comes in on a mysterious toy phone from a child trapped in a haunted house. To handle it, Charlie has to bring in two of the original Librarians, Jacob Stone and Cassandra Cillian, for backup. The show has built its whole premise around Vikram Chamberlain, a Librarian who time traveled from 1847 and accidentally released magic across the continent, giving the team six months to clean up the mess. This episode leans on that magical mess of the week format while pulling in some familiar faces from the original series.

Genesis finds Maggie and Negan in separate circumstances this week, each one wrestling with what they’re actually doing in a Manhattan that’s been cut off from the mainland for years. The series has spent three seasons putting the two characters in an uneasy alliance inside a crumbling city full of danger, anarchy, and the dead, and this episode keeps them apart just long enough to test what they’re each willing to do without the other. It’s a quieter turn for two characters who usually define the show through conflict with each other.

Episode 23 continues season 28’s run of weekly eliminations inside the Big Brother house, where the remaining houseguests are still living under constant camera and microphone coverage as they vote each other out one at a time. The format hasn’t changed since the show started: whoever’s left standing at the end takes home $500,000, and getting there means navigating alliances, blindsides, and whatever this week’s competition throws at the house. With the season deep into its run, the group left in the house keeps shrinking and the stakes keep climbing.
