Citadel is a global spy thriller built around two elite agents, Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh, whose memories were wiped after their agency was taken down by a rival syndicate called Manticore. Season two picks up with Mason, Nadia, and their colleague Bernard scattered across Europe, each dealing with the aftermath of season one while a new threat from Paulo Braga closes in. The show launched in 2023 and its future beyond this season is still to be determined.

2. The Terror

The Terror is an anthology series, meaning each season tells a self-contained story with a new cast and setting. Season one adapted the Dan Simmons novel about Franklin’s lost Arctic expedition; season two moved to a Japanese-American internment camp during World War II. Season three follows a character named Pepper, who ends up committed to a 72-hour psychiatric hold after defending his girlfriend. The show has been running since 2018 and is confirmed continuing.

3. Legends

Legends is set in 1990s Britain, where a surge in drug-related deaths prompts the government to put together a covert operation. A veteran customs investigator is brought in to recruit and run a unit of ordinary civil servants for an undercover mission into the drug trade. The show is new this week and its status beyond a first season is not yet confirmed.
