Lucky is a thriller built around a con artist who goes by that name. A multi-million-dollar heist falls apart, and she ends up on the run with two very different threats after her: the FBI on one side, and a crime boss with no patience on the other. Being good at the con is one thing; staying ahead of federal agents and organized crime at the same time is another. The premiere sets that chase in motion, with her survival and any way out both in question. Apple TV releases the first episode this week.

The Westies is a crime drama about the Irish American gang of Hell’s Kitchen, set as the Jacob Javits Convention Center goes up on their home turf. The build promises real money, and although the Five Families of the Italian Mafia outnumber them roughly fifty to one, the Westies hold leverage through a reputation for brutality and a shaky truce that lets them share the take. The bigger threat comes from inside. A younger, more reckless generation is pushing against the old leadership, and that friction puts the whole arrangement at risk. MGM+ starts the series this week.

All American returns for its eighth season. The show started with a high school football player from South Central Los Angeles getting recruited to play in Beverly Hills, and it has followed the collision between two families and two very different parts of the city ever since. The premise draws loosely on the life of former NFL player Spencer Paysinger. Eight seasons in, the premiere picks up ongoing storylines rather than reintroducing the setup, so it assumes some familiarity with where these characters left off.

Married at First Sight reaches its 20th season. The format pairs strangers who agree to legally marry the first time they meet, with a panel of specialists handling the matchmaking. The new season sets up its couples and sends them into marriages with people they have just laid eyes on, then follows what happens next.

Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro is a spinoff focused on professional dancers rather than celebrities. Up-and-coming pros move into a shared house and work through a demanding audition process, with the winner earning a spot as a pro on the next season of Dancing with the Stars. The premiere introduces the competitors and starts the vetting.

Nation’s Dumbest flips the usual competition: contestants want out early, because the last one standing gets labeled the nation’s dumbest. The celebrity lineup runs across influencers, wrestlers, comedians, and politicians, and the rounds mix physical challenges with questions about things people are generally expected to know. The premiere starts the race to lose.
