The Five Star Weekend follows Hollis Shaw, a cookbook author and food personality whose public image runs on warmth and good taste. A sudden death upends that image and pulls at everything underneath it: a marriage that was already strained, a distant relationship with her daughter, and a habit of measuring herself by what her followers think. Her response is to plan a weekend at her house on Nantucket and bring together four women, three from different stretches of her past and one she barely knows. The premiere, “Friday: Arrivals,” covers the loss, a very public breakdown, and her decision to go ahead with the gathering anyway.

Trying is a comedy about Jason and Nikki, a London couple whose path to a family has never been simple. Season 5 opens with “Rollercoaster,” where the fallout from a lie Nikki told is still landing. The arrival of a character named Kat puts new pressure on the household and unsettles the balance the two of them have built. Five seasons in, the premiere carries forward relationships and history rather than starting from scratch.

Press Your Luck returns for a seventh season with Elizabeth Banks hosting. Contestants play for cash and prizes while trying to dodge the WHAMMY, which wipes out their winnings. The premiere, “Pigskin Classic,” puts three football superfans up against the board.

The Real Murders of Atlanta covers homicide cases set against the city’s mix of old Southern money, the music industry, and new wealth. Each episode works through a case with the people close to it: investigators, witnesses, reporters, and family. Season 4 opens with “Officer Down.”
